- Our mission is to serve Southern Baptists by providing
retirement, relief, insurance and investment to meet the
needs of active and retired Southern Baptist church and
denominational employees, missionaries, churches and
organizations. We also solicit, receive and administer funds for
ministers or their widows in need.

Religious Liberty Commission
- Formerly known as the Church Life Commission, their goal is
"to engage today’s culture with the timeless principles of
God’s Word, the Bible, to give Christians a better awareness and
understanding of the compelling moral and ethical issues facing
society today, and to enable Christians to respond in an informed
and timely manner to these issues."
- International
Mission Board
- Formerly known as the Foreign Mission Board, it is based in
Richmond, Va. and sends missionaries to minister to the physical
and spiritual needs of people around the world. By 2000, the
mission board had more than 4,000 missionaries assigned to more
than 133 countries in almost every part of the world.

Resources
- Newly renamed Sunday School Board for the Southern Baptist
Convention, it is among the world's largest publishers of
religious materials, by the year 2000 producing 180 monthly and
quarterly products and between 800-900 undated products annually.

Board)

Mission Board
- Formerly known as the Home Mission Board, it exists to
proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ, start New Testament
congregations, minister to persons in the name of Christ, and
assist churches in the United States and Canada in effectively
performing these functions.
- Southern
Baptist Convention
- This web page has a great list of links to other Baptist
sources. The Convention’s purpose, as stated in Article II of its
constitution, is “to provide a general organization for
Baptists in the United States and its territories for the
promotion of Christian missions as home and abroad, and any other
objects such as Christian education, benevolent enterprises, and
social services, which it may deem properly advisable for the
furtherance of the Kingdom of God.”
